Broker's Comments
Here we have a clean and tidy example of the very roomy Aquafibre 33 Ruby. These are very spacious river cruisers and are now quite rare and hard to find.
This particular example is clean and dry and has a very nice internal layout with two good sized double cabins (one aft and one midships), two large heads compartments each with large shower and vanity. She has a long galley to port and a good sized saloon forward with amazing views out, which converts to another double so that she can accommodate up to 6 when required to do so. Her upholstery is all very nice and appears to be undamaged and is very comfortable.
She has a what appears to be a well running BMC diesel engine which started readily and ran very nicely indeed. LED lights are present throughout the boat and she benefits from diesel warm air heating.
The mid cabin has a new full size king-size bed fitted with a new mattress, that has never been used! The galley is nicely fitted out with plenty of space and a good quality fridge and cooking appliances and enjoys plenty of worktop space.
There are new furnishings, pictures and crockery that are being left with the boat due to the sudden and unexpected nature of the sale meaning the much planned boating dream can no longer be realised for the vendor.
The boat had a full out of the water survey in December 2022 when the current owner bought the boat. In its summary it states "the condition of the boat is in quite good condition for her age" and that she is "a good example of the type".
She has her Broads toll paid to the end of March 2023 and her Boat Safety Certificate runs to 30/09/25. She was last antifouled in mid 2022 and last engine service was this summer (July 23).
Please note that when I took these pictures she had not been cleaned down on the outside, and this will be done shortly. I will seek to get fresh external pictures of her all nice and clean on the outside once this has been done.
