Cannes boosts Sunseeker to £100m in sales in a week
On its return from Cannes Yachting Festival, Sunseeker has announced a further £100 million of retail sales within the last week.
The yacht manufacturer began the show season with a record order book and took the opportunity at the show to announce the concept details of its new Superhawk 55, a brand new Predator 65 and updated news on the innovative 100 Yacht which achieved a further three sales.
Andrea Frabetti, CEO at Sunseeker International, comments: “What a fantastic start for Sunseeker at the first of several shows this autumn. With a record order book in place before we started the show season, I am delighted to announce a further £100 million of retail sales within the last week alone. We launched the all-new Superhawk 55, a sleek open-top performance model rooted in Sunseeker’s racing heritage and announced the imminent arrival of two new models, the Predator 65 and 90 Ocean Enclosed. Following substantial investment in new models and the innovations behind them, our rapidly expanding range is approaching 20 models; one of the most up to date and sought after in the industry.”
According to Sunseeker, the reinvented, reborn Superhawk will be an incredibly lightweight performance yacht, powered by a pair of Volvo Penta D11 – IPS 950 engines, capable of 38 knots.
“It was a great show to start the season and fantastic to see a full diary of appointments which we welcomed enthusiastically. As we return to the reintroduction of in-person boat shows worldwide, we are looking forward to a successful season ahead. We are immensely excited about sharing our 2021 model range, showcasing the very best of British design, innovation and craftsmanship.”
Commenting on the Superhawk 55, Frabetti, says: “It is the start of an exciting new series of 55-foot models and we think that our customers are going to be really excited to see this new model on the water.”
