Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this rare opportunity to purchase a renowned commercial tourist boat that has plied her trade along the Thames between Westminster and Hampton Court for many years with an annual revenue of approx. £250,000.
Originally built in 1924, the boat has been extensively renovated by the current owners and has been well maintained as you would expect for a working vessel. Last surveyed by the MCA in Feb 2020. The liferafts are leased.
The boat is laid out across two decks with the upper deck being more open with large windows and the lower deck set up for dining currently. Amidships are the two toilet facilities and the bar area.
The vessel does not come with a mooring, and it is recommended that potential buyers have an idea of where the boat might be moved to, in order to expedite the subsequent negotiations.
The vessel has been recently docked and had a full MCA survey and running trial in order to maintain the vessel's Class 5 certification. However, the hull will require subdivisions unless she is operated in Category B waters (non-tidal).
Alternatively, the vessel could be converted to a houseboat, with the reassurance that structurally and mechanically she is in prime condition.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
