Broker's Comments
This Buchanan 27 wooden cruiser/racer has beautiful, classic lines, accentuated by the wonderful shades of the cold moulded mahogany epoxy-laminated hull, built on oak timbers. This home built boat was apparently constructed to Lloyds A1 specification. She surveyed well in 2012 (main complaint was the colour of the deck paint: royal blue; since changed). In 2013 she was re-engined and the mainsail was replaced, as was the fore-sail and cruising chute in 2014. The hull looks good, but some new varnish on decks and coach-roof wouldn't come amiss in bringing her up to scratch.
