Broker's Comments
This is a fantastic opportunity to own a superb example of a Collingwood Widebeam 60 that has been completed to the highest specification and build standard.
Purchased new by the current owner as one of the Collingwood Sailaway range, this really needs to be seen to be believed. With 30 plus years experience as a professional boat builder, the owner has thought of every eventuality and built in numerous features that would be worthy of any high end home.
From well thought out insulation and ventilation including double glazed windows, to Karndean wood effect vinyl flooring, this superb liveaboard wants for nothing. All of the electrics have redundancies built in, she comes fully smart connected with underfloor zoned heating and app controlled lighting. The heating and ventilation system runs off gas cylinders meaning no need to have access to oil or shore power (the system also includes a heat exchanger and solar top up system to ensure that she can handle all the demands of the equipment she has to offer).
All furniture is included and built professionally by the owner in Orako wood. The kitchen is fitted out as any high end house and the bathroom features a large full height shower and conventional toilet. The widescreen televisions (Saloon and bedroom) are also included as are the kitchen appliances making this ready to move in.
The time lapse video (available on Youtube) was also featured on Channel 5s Million Pound Barge, really showing how every aspect of this build was completed to the highest standard. This is an opportunity to own something very special at a price that would not get you onto the property ladder in London.
