Broker's Comments
This boat does not come with a trailer.
Cornish Crabbers have a stellar reputation for build quality and ease of sailing. This looks a particularly nice example of the 19ft version, the Cornish Shrimper, scarcely used over the past two years. Everything is so neat.
A routine engine service and an exterior spring clean has been arranged by her current owner.
Power is from a four stroke Mercury 6hp outboard.
The upholstery is like new, as is the discreet Jabsco head.
The mast and boom woodwork, gaff rigged sails, running rigging, winches and exterior fittings all look in excellent condition.
As befits a trailable creek and estuary day/weekend sailer, navigation instruments are limited - primarily a depth sounder and analogue compass. The lifting keel is easy to operate, in fact there is a comprehensive owner's manual, covering every aspect of rigging, sailing, safety and towing.
Two quarter berths provide overnight accommodation if necessary. There are two fresh water jerry cans complemented by a single burner cooker running on a Camping Gaz cartridge.
Simple, basic sailing from a classic boat design that has proven extremely popular. Customers have towed them to the south of France and Holland - read their experiences online.
Absolute beginners attracted to sailing a classic small boat have nothing to fear!
