Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this impressive 27m Dutch Barge for sale with residential mooring in Battersea, SW London.
Offered with a 5 year mooring license, this huge boat offers masses of space at an extremely good price compared to other boats available in the area. There is an option to purchase the freehold on the mooring at any time to give the owner an unlimited mooring license in this tight-knit community. Albion Quay is located on the Thames near Battersea Square and the boat dries out at low water.
Recently surveyed in 2019 with subsequent overplating being carried out by the seller, the hull is in great condition now. Over £40,000 was spent on it. The interior requires investment and the potential is there for three large cabins and therefore makes this ideal for a family. The asking price reflects this and we believe gives substantial headroom for a large spend to make this into a modern and stylish houseboat.
The annual mooring fee will be £10,000 per annum and the freehold would be available to purchase if required. Please get in touch for more details on this.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
