Broker's Comments
The Freeward 35 has a well-earned reputation as a strong, seaworthy, offshore workboat and this one is currently used professionally for fishing charter trips.
She has been maintained professionally to commercial standards. The coding on this vessel makes her very rare for a boat of this size allowing for 28 pax and 2 crew on her MCA Class 6 passenger licence.
She also holds a Nominated Departure Point license for 12 pax and 2 crew all year round!
She has a large, comfortable wheelhouse and a substantial working deck space (12m sq) complete with three very large storage lockers and a stainless steel fishing rod rack. The working deck area also has an abundance of seating and life jackets stored beneath.
With a large forward cabin and a separate heads compartment, she could also be easily converted to provide comfortable accommodation at sea.
She was re-engined in 1993 and is fitted with a Ford Mermaid 300hp turbo engine to help punch her way through the heaviest of seas.
