Broker's Comments

The Kestrel 22 was built in the 1950s to supply demand for a small, inexpensive cruiser suitable for weekend sailing in shallow waters. Originally built in wood until a GRP version was introduced in the late 1960s/early 1970s.

This is a good example of the popular Kestrel 22, built in 1973, she is an ideal boat for a sailing family wishing to enjoy some weekend cruising. The accommodation is offered in two separate cabins, she boasts a separate head and a good sized cockpit area. Upholstery and carpeting are in good order and she is ready to sail away. Currently out of the water and being offered with cockpit canopy.
Update 17.5.13 Boat is now fitted with a 4 stroke 4 hp Yamaha outboard.
