Broker's Comments
This 2017 57ft Narrowboat is now for sale and makes an affordable cruising home for the London canals. Being only four years old comes with the obvious benefits of lower maintenance costs because this is a relatively new boat and she is priced well.
The engine bay is immaculate and mechanically in very good order. There are four batteries, a bow thruster and three large solar panels perfect for cruising. The boat was blacked in Spring 2020 with the anodes replaced too.
Internally, she is set up with a studio style living area and galley, leaving the stern quarters free to be used as a workshop/office. There is lots of storage in the office area and in the main living area, the current owner has lots of bookcases and it's a charming space with lots of colour and light. This layout could be changed to move the bed into the stern area. The boat is filled with light thanks to very large and numerous windows as well as the lovely skylights. There is a heating stove as well as a Webasto central heating system.
The fit out is basic but been done to a decent standard, however again there are things that the new owner could change and improve if they wanted to. The boat is fitted with heavy duty steel doors at both ends meaning it is nice and secure and the windows are all lockable too.
