Broker's Comments
The Nelson hull form arguably sets the standard for sea going ruggedness. This boat was originally commissioned as a fast patrol vessel for a foreign navy. She was decommissioned in 1990 and purchased by her present owner. A 'new bottom' was fitted at this time under surveyors supervision (core samples available). Twin Perkins Sabre (M300 turbo charged) were fitted in 1994 prior to re-commissioning. Her interior was fitted out in teak ply and formica. Her wheelhouse was has been recently re-lined in mahogany.
She would benefit from a refit below and some modernisation to a new owners taste, however she is only recently lifted ashore and is in sea going order, as presented.
