Total LOA is 40' 6".
This is semi-displacement under body which allows it to exceed hull speed up to 13 knots with the 380 HP engine.
Heavy hand-laid fiberglass (GRP) solid hull construction. Vinylester resins are used in the outer layers to help prevent blistering.
Epoxy barrier coating and hull paint below the waterline. Integral grid structures is designed to provide a strong hull with little flexing as evidenced by the lack of hull gel coat cracks.
Fiberglass fuel and holding tanks . Water tanks are stainless steel.
Bow handrails have a 1-1/8" upper rail and 1" lower rails. Double-rungs all around.
All window frames are powder coated aluminum and in good condition.
The galley size was increased at the factory to provide more counter space.
The owner wanted plenty of black water storage so he had the factory add a second 45 gal. holding tank at the forward end of the engine room providing a total of 90 gallons of capacity.
An Espar D5 diesel forced air furnace is included and is located in the port forward section of the engine room.
Counter tops in the galley are granite.
The vessel came from the factory with built-in ducts for future installation of air conditioning, if desired.

Boarding this vessel from either the transom door or from one of the pilothouse doors is easy. If you step into the pilothouse you immediately notice the L-shaped dinette that converts to a single berth and the open walk ways to the forward stateroom or aft to the saloon and galley.
Access to engine room is also in the PH through the double deck hatches.
Visibility from the lower helm is excellent -- a clear view ahead and also aft! Anyone stepping off the large swim step on either side can be seen.
Moving forward into the master stateroom a queen size berth is directly amidships and the separate head and shower compartments are accessed through teak doors. There are drawers under the aft end of the berth plus hanging lockers port and starboard. Both the head and shower are vented by opening portlights.
When you step back through the PH and into the saloon / galley it's clear that this is a wide body vessel with an unusual amount of interior space. The L-shaped galley to starboard has overhead storage plus lots of drawers. A Nova-Kool refrigerator with separate freezer on the bottom is at the forward end. A double sink and three burner stove with oven are installed in a granite top.
On the port side is a L-shaped dinette that converts to a comfortable queen sized berth. Forward of the dinette is more storage and a wall mounted TV.
It's 3 steps down and forward into the
guest head (day head). There's room for addition of a combo-washer/dryer if needed. A water tight door provides access to the engine room. This space is well used.
Directly aft of the galley is a double book shelf and space for the included lounge chair and foot stool.
Stepping out the either PH doors you find secure, wide steps to the flybridge. On the bridge there is plenty of room across the aft end for the 10'2" dinghy. The low profile deck crane is in the port aft corner. A helm chair is located at the upper station and an L-shaped seating area is available for guests.

The Deck Crane is a low profile Nick Jackson 650 Lb. electric winch. The crane has a custom extension to raise it above the port railing to make launching the dinghy easy.
The upper half of the boat deck aft railing was reduced in height by 12" to provide a shorter lift when launching the dinghy.

Commentaires du Broker
This vessel has been in covered moorage for most of its life. The entire boat is in exceptional condition. With only 415 hours on the engine and all equipment in good running condition it is ready to go!
Originally imported and sold as a Mariner Yachts International 37 Seville Pilothouse, this model is the predecessor to the current Helmsman Trawlers 38 Pilothouse and is dimensionally equal.
With the additional Balmar alternator, three 8D house batteries and a propane galley stove you can spend nights on the hook and not worry about electrical power.
The improved deck crane and the large Walker Bay dinghy with the 20 HP Honda make getting to shore "no problem".
This is a proven design with similar models making the trip to Alaska many times. The second head off the saloon and the single berth in the pilothouse make this a comfortable cruising boat for up to five people.
I have personally spent several weeks cruising aboard the same model boat and found it a spacious, comfortable and capable vessel.
