Here we have the most delightful and immaculate 42ft Porter and Haylett Connoisseur luxury Broads Cruiser. Built in 1984 at Wroxham on the Norfolk Broads, these boats were built to the highest standards. With 3 seperate cabins and a large stateroom living area she also has a shower room to the master cabin ( also a 2nd aft which is plumbed but acually used as a storeroom), the boat is bright and roomy with an excellent galley area. The current owners have kept her in beautiful order, and I can say no expense has been spared on this fabulous vessel.
The interior is in superb order with quality fittings and furinshings, she has been equipped with solar panels to keep the battery bank charged,(270 watts and 15 amps).
It is very rare that boats of such high specification come on the market, the current owners have enjoyed her for some 17 years and are moving on to new cruising waters.
She is available with a superb rural mooring, and has a safety certificate issued which is valid until 2016, she is also licenced for the Norfolk Broads until April 2014.
To sumarise, a spacious and indeed rare boat, in fine condition inside and out, suitable for Broads cruising and also ideal for the French and Dutch waterway systems. The owners have kindly given me access to keys and she is available for viewing any time to suit.
