Broker's Comments
If you're looking for a sturdy, seaworthy family cruiser that not only represents good value for money but is also a good all rounder with comfortable accommodation, then look no further than this Westerly Berwick.
A big sister to the ever popular Centaur, these strong 31ft bilge keelers are surprisingly good passage makers and are equally at home on the open sea as they are pottering up shallow creeks or sitting on drying moorings.
On this example, the lines lead aft to a deep and spacious cockpit with good quality cockpit cushions. The sheet winches are self tailing whilst the stainless steel A-frame on the transom gives plenty of room for a solar panel, wind generator and a block & tackle for easy lifting of an outboard on to it’s bracket.
The accommodation is clean, tidy and has a nice homely feel to it. The upholstery appears to be in good condition as do most of the head-linings. There is the added advantage of cabin heating, a mobile fridge, two sizes of saloon table and a spare set of Perspex washboards to let in more light.
Although no youngster, this well built yacht has plenty of years of good fun and adventure left in her.
