RFD® four (4) person offshore life raft. Currently out of certification.
(Seller reports, Note; a life raft certification is issued for a specific voyage/passage and not a particular period of time. The certification is in effect until the vessel departs for that specific passage/voyage and, in practice, remains so until the vessel reaches its first port of call. At that point, theoretically, the certification expires and requires renewal. This being the situation, there's little point in maintaining current certification while cruising in the PNW.)
Broker's Comments
The seller says "this is a true offshore boat and she has the bits that go with it to deserve the title!". This Westerly Ocean 43 has been from the UK to New Zealand, multiple trips to Alaska and is now touring The Salish Sea.
For all that travel she still looks beautiful and capable, showing careful and attentive maintenance. October 2016 surveyor comments vessel condition as, "Near Pristine".
The interior is European White Oak so it's nice and light. Leather seating and lovely solid surface counter tops in speckled green make the interior very rich feeling.
The rugged construction, purpose of effort in a seaway and luxury interior make this a boat you must see if high end quality is your desire. This vessel compares favorably to other well-known cruisers such as Oyster and Hallberg-Rassy, is built to Lloyd’s Register of Construction, is VAT registered in the UK but has not been imported for consumption to the US therefore it is not for sale to US residents while in US waters.
