Broker's Comments
*THIS BOAT IS NOT SOLD WITH A MOORING*
Boatshed London are pleased to offer this 2016 50x12 wide beam houseboat purpose built for a mooring in West London (the mooring is not available) and as such it does not have an engine. The boat was commissioned by a well known fashion brand with offices backing onto the canal as a pied a terre space for out of town workers and with its large upper deck area, it was also utilised as an entertainment space in the Summer months.
The boat features a well laid out floor plan with large open saloon area incorporating a hidden bed in the wall, walk through galley kitchen, large bathroom/wet room and an amply sized master bedroom in the bow. The windows are large and double glazed and it features a skylight, giving the saloon area a very light and airy feel.
However, whilst originally built to a very high spec, the boat has been neglected more recently and is in need of quite a lot of TLC. It would be beneficial to any prospective buyer to list the pros and cons.
Pros:
Really nice layout, good base to start with.
Well constructed
Great roof top decking area
Large open space Saloon and galley
Wet room
4 berth
Cons:
No engine
No BSS
No 12V system except for the toilet.
Skylight and some windows are leaking
Gas not hooked up
In summary, this is a great base to work, it would need a fair amount of work to get it to be a cruiser, however less so, if there was a permanent mooring.
