Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 57ft Wide Beam barge for sale with London residential mooring at Greenland Dock in SE London.
The boat was built in 2006 and has been at Greenland Dock its whole lifetime. The boat has always been used as a liveaboard and is very comfortable for it. The engine hours is not a typo!
With a large open plan living room and large cabin, this boat is an ideal boat for a couple looking to live aboard with the security of one of the most desirable moorings in London. Unlike a lot of wide beams, the roof has been converted into a brilliant garden with plenty of space for a keen gardener to get stuck in.
The residential mooring at Greenland Dock is fully transferable and current mooring fees are roughly £7,000 p.a.. The marina charge a 10% transfer (of the sale price) to transfer the residential license. The marina has great facilities with laundry, CCTV, and good transport links with Canada Water underground 20 mins walk and Surrey Quays overground about 15 mins walk from the marina.
