Superyacht agency Acquera Yachting has appointed Alexander von Stein as chief operating officer (COO). Based primarily in Monaco, von Stein will also travel to various company offices, overseeing operations and supporting teams and clients worldwide.

In his new role, von Stein will manage the firm’s operational area, working with teams across the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and the Middle East, where Acquera expanded to in 2023. His responsibilities include coordinating port development and optimising operations in all regions where the agency operates.

With three decades of experience in yachting, von Stein has worked in yacht finance, international yacht sales, vessel management, and yacht building. He has also served as a yachting advisor for IRI / The Marshall Islands Registry.
