Baglietto sells 56m custom motor yacht
Italian boatbuilder Baglietto has confirmed the sale of a new 56-metre custom motor yacht constructed in steel and aluminium. The vessel’s design is by Enrico Gobbi of Team for Design, who will also oversee the interior design in collaboration with designer Carlo Lionetti.
The yacht’s layout includes a master suite on the upper deck, equipped with a private outdoor space facing forward. Additionally, the lower deck features a gym and spa area, directly connected to a spacious aft stern platform that incorporates a pool flush with the deck.
“We are very excited about this new challenge,” says Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto’s chief commercial officer. “The owner of this new project contacted us with very clear ideas about the design and technical performance he was looking for. We are a boutique shipyard with a client-focused approach based on a relationship of trust.
“This new fully custom motor yacht is further proof of Baglietto’s ability to satisfy its clients’ demand for uniqueness and demonstrates the shipyard’s great flexibility and capacity to meet all clients’ needs.”
Baglietto says the yacht will be powered by twin Caterpillar 3512E engines, each providing 2,549 horsepower, allowing for a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles.
The sale comes a year after Baglietto opened a new Singapore office, with the firm seeking to conquer new markets in Asia.
