A yacht dealership with a focus on carbon construction has launched in Australia. Family owned Carbon Yachts will be led by Peter Hrones and his eldest son Chris who say they’re aiming to set a new bar for luxury boating in Australia.

Carbon Yachts intends to offer an exclusive black label selection of luxury vessels that combine craftsmanship and innovation, combined with extensive use of carbon fibre as “these are the boats that we are passionate about and want to own and use ourselves, this makes bringing them to Australians fun,” says Hroner.

The new company’s initial portfolio includes Saffier Yachts, Michael Schmidts Y-Yachts, Virtue day boats and Candela electric hydrofoiling boats.

“We are delighted to introduce Carbon Yachts to the Australian market, I feel as though this new company fills the gap for lightweight sailing and power vessels,” continues Hrones. “I am always looking to the European market for the latest designs and when I find boats as good as these I know I need to bring them to the Australian market.

“Our focus on carbon gives our brands the cutting edge providing a fleet of fast and efficient vessels whether they are powered by sails or engines.”

The dealership’s after-sales support is complemented by an in-house service centre, Vesseltec, which the company says ensures that every yacht receives the highest level of care and attention.

Carbon Yachts will be launching its range next month at Sydney International Boat Show, 3-6 August 2023, where it will be showcasing the Virtue 10 and Saffier 33 Life.
