At Boatshed, our mission is to make it easier for you to buy and sell boats. And with our next online boat auction set to start on July 12, you can view a fabulous selection of boats for sale in our online catalogue today.

From blue-water cruisers, motor yachts, express cruisers and trawler yachts to boats for racing, commercial use and cruising inland waterways – our online auction puts the power of bidding in your hands!

What’s so special about Boatshed’s auctions?

For a start, there’s no risk involved. Through our Boatbid.com auction site, you can bid, buy and sell with confidence. If you’re buying, it’s up to you how much you want to bid. And as bids increase in set minimum increments, the successful bidder is the highest bidder at the end of the auction whose bid has met or exceeded the seller’s reserve price.

And whether you’re a buyer or a vendor, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that the boat will have been personally viewed by a Boatshed broker who prepares the description and boat specifications, inventory – together with images, videos ad VR – that can all be viewed online.

How to place your boat for sale in the auction

Nothing could be simpler, even if your boat is not already registered with us for sale. Just go to our Boatbid.com microsite and fill out your contact details and some information about the boat – and one of our local Boatshed brokers will get back to you to.

Once your boat is entered in the auction and the reserve is set, Boatshed’s clever algorithms will highlight potentially interested buyers from millions of boat viewings our systems collect and then match these buyers to your boat.

How to bid and buy a boat in the auction

Once you have signed in, you can bid for any boat advertised in the auction. Will it be the easy-to sail Wauqiez Centurion 32 in Essex with a starting bid of £12,500 or the tigerish Jeanneau Prestige 34 Sport Top currently moored in the south of France with a starting bid of € 72,000?

If yours is the winning bid that has met or exceeded the reserve, we’ll help you with all the arrangements for paying a deposit, the survey and any sea trials.

Remember – the Boatshed Auction begins on July 12 and is online for just five days.
