Why Gosport ?
24 miles of shoreline, hidden creeks, islands, stunning beaches, ancient moats, saltings and wetlands... think Monaco without the bling, Stockholm without the gloom, Venice without the smell. Gosport has immediate access to the Solent at all states of the tide with deep water and no air draught limits.
Occupying the sheltered western shore of Portsmouth Harbour, Gosport is a mecca for yachtsmen and small commercial operators. Over 2000 moorings, three marinas, boatyards, slipways, sailmakers, engineers, mast fabricators, riggers, and the largest boat lift in the Solent.
In addition there are specialist physiotherapy services, marine advertising and PR agencies, restaurants, pubs and eateries on the shore and afloat, and high quality crew accommodation where yachtsmen are welcomed.
