Oceanic Systems acquired by Energy Solutions UK
Oceanic Systems, which designs and manufactures marine systems for control and monitoring vessels, including fuel and water senders, level gauges, NMEA2000 cabling and connectors, has been bought by Energy Solutions UK Ltd.
The latter supplies marine electrical systems and works with leading OEM boatbuilders, superyacht owners and individual boaters to deliver power and control solutions.
“By acquiring Oceanic, Energy Solutions strengthens its portfolio of monitoring solutions, particularly as our involvement in marine hybrid propulsion systems grows,” says Paul Holland, MD and founder of Energy Solutions. “Oceanic’s Poseidon system is a key asset in providing sophisticated monitoring solutions.” The latter system – for monitoring and control – was installed on Spirit Yachts’ modern classic P70 motor yacht in 2020.
Oceanic Systems will continue to operate as a stand-alone business, with its 15 employees integrated into Energy Solutions‘ operations, bringing Oceanic’s technical capabilities, including PCB assembly with automated pick-and-place technology.
