Remote start for Seakeeper stabilisers via Raymarine partnership

Marine electronics leader Raymarine has incorporated new technology to add compatibility with marine gyro stabilisation equipment from Seakeeper. Through this partnership, Raymarine’s Yachtsense gateway can enable an onboard Seakeeper gyro to be remotely activated via the Raymarine app. This allows for the Seakeeper to spool up before boaters board their vessel, saving boat-prep and launch time.
The new collaboration opens the door to a variety of practical benefits for boaters with Raymarine and Seakeeper systems on board.
“We are excited to work with the team at Seakeeper to bring innovative new solutions to Raymarine and Seakeeper customers,” says Michelle Hildyard vice president of operations at Raymarine. “Seakeeper has openly worked with our engineers to integrate both of our industry-leading technologies to make boating easier and more enjoyable for all. Boaters will appreciate the simplicity of operating their Seakeeper from our Raymarine Yachtsense gateway, opening up future technology sharing for additional functionality to come.”
“There’s a reason we say, ‘once you feel it, you’ll never boat without it’,” says Seakeeper’s chief commercial officer, Will Cimino. “Seakeeper is a must-have for boaters, leading the industry in stabilisation technology. We’re thrilled to work with companies like Raymarine that are investing in our shared customers and providing value through greater connectivity and functionality of our systems onboard.”
This new technology is available exclusively for boats factory equipped with Raymarine’s Yachtsense digital-switching solution. Owners should contact an authorised installer or Raymarine’s customer service department to verify their vessel’s Yachtsense configuration and compatibility.
