Sirena’s first 42m superyacht progresses towards 2026 launch

Construction of the first Sirena Superyachts 42-metre model is progressing at the Turkish shipyard. The hull and superstructure have been joined, and the company confirms that work remains on schedule for the yacht’s launch in 2026.
Luca Vallebona designed the vessel’s exterior and interior layouts, and the Italian studio Hot Lab, which is part of The Viken Group, designed the interior. Van Oossanen was responsible for the naval architecture. The Sirena 42M features open entertaining areas, external relaxation zones, a master cabin with a private patio and a beach club with drop-down bulwarks.
Istanbul-based Sirena says the yacht’s layout allows for a high level of customisation. Owners can position the suite on either the main or upper deck, which influences the dining arrangements in the saloon. The bow area can also be configured for guest use, accommodating dining or relaxation.
A sliding door at the bow of the owner’s cabin integrates interior and exterior spaces. The patio incorporates features such as a pergola, an optional pool, and an organically shaped staircase leading to the upper deck. This layout extends the forward cabin’s outdoor area, creating an additional space within the semi-custom market.
The main deck’s interior includes an aft saloon positioned slightly lower that connects to the aft pool. Large windows increase natural light and external visibility, while minimal lateral pillars maintain an open and panoramic view.
The lower deck contains four guest cabins, including two VIP cabins with transverse beds. A wardrobe-integrated partition optimises space, and en-suite bathrooms provide separation from technical areas such as the garage and engine room to improve sound insulation. The interior combines curved and linear elements with large fillets and dynamic wall structures.

An extended living area version includes an aft saloon dedicated to lounging and two adaptable spaces. The first, forward of the stairs on the starboard side, can function as a game room, sitting area or studio. The forward section serves as a dining area, with direct access to an adjacent patio to increase natural light and outdoor connectivity.
The Sirena 42M’s interior will use materials such as beech, oak, cotton, and chenille, blending Nordic influences with Mediterranean elements. Deckhead panels feature a titanium-effect metal finish throughout.
Sirena Yachts‘ new range of 35-50m superyachts has been designed with younger owners in mind. The boats were originally unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show 2022, where the Turkish shipyard promised to maximise the onboard experience for owners and guests.
