Technical Marine Supplies, the exclusive global distribution partner for the Vesscomm telematics range, is unveiling the latter’s latest products, at Seawork next week (the UK’s commercial boat show, stand G46).

The Vesscomm range comprises three models, which all come with a global SIM as standard.

Vesscomm Lite offers comprehensive remote tracking capabilities, enabling boat owners to monitor their vessel’s location in real-time. With geofencing and alerts, users are immediately notified of any unauthorised movements.

The Vesscomm Hub model integrates remote switching functions, allowing owners to control various aspects of their boat from wherever they are. That might be turning on the NMEA enabled VC digital to remotely view and operate the NMEA system.

Vesscomm Pro (the digital model) provides full access to NMEA2000 data. This means boat owners can access a comprehensive overview of a vessel’s performance and status. It has built-in G sensors to immediately alert owners if their boat hits submerged obstacles.

Nick Cook, from TMS, says the state-of-the-art product line, has been “proudly manufactured in the UK. It sets a new standard in maritime technology with its NMEA2000 compatibility and advanced features designed to enhance the boating experience. The collaboration with Vesscomm underscores a shared commitment to quality, innovation, and the global maritime community.”

It’s already been a busy year for the company. Recently, TMS became the European distribution of the Colt wire tension gauge, a tool designed to enhance the efficiency and safety of marine rigging. That’s said to be capable of measuring tensions up to 5,000kg on wires ranging from 5mm to 25mm in diameter. And, In January, French manufacturer SLCE Watermakers appointed TMS to represent its Aquabase-branded watermakers in the UK and Ireland. Those are for both large cruise liners and navel craft to the smaller, more compact Aquabase range designed for the leisure marine industry.
