We would like to introduce Martin Kenney who is joining the Boatshed team as broker for Southampton. Martin will be looking after the River Test and River Itchen areas. Covering marinas at Ocean Village , Shamrock Quay and Hythe.

After graduating with a degree in Maritime Geography, Martin wanted to join the Royal Navy to become a ships Captain, his plans were thwarted when his colour blindness came to light.

Undeterred from his plans with working with BIG boats, Martin became a shipbroker. He specialised in chartering ships to carry heavy and large cargo's. Including super yachts, boats, dredgers and other big stuff.

Martin has worked with people all over the world and today continues to run his own small ship brokerage as well as working as a broker for Boatshed.

When not working Martin loves to have fun on the water with anything that floats. He cycles daily, cooks, plays tennis, climbs, ski's and looks after Roger, a mad Border Terrier.
