XO Boats appoints new US dealer
Marine Servicenter, which has offices in Seattle, Bellingham, San Diego and Los Angeles, has been appointed as the official representative for Finnish boat manufacturer XO Boats on the West Coast of the United States.
Marine Servicenter, which was founded in 1977, says its four locations will increase XO Boats’ coverage within the West Coast boating market.
“What began as a small family business in Seattle has grown into a well-established, trustworthy company serving the entire West Coast of the USA,” says Marine Servicenter owner Dan Krier.
“We pride ourselves on top-notch after-sales care to owners who purchase new boats with us and have won several Dealer of the Year awards as a result.”
The firm also represents boats made by Jeanneau, Lagoon, Catalina, CNB Yachts and True North Yachts.
Henrik Thelen, sales director of XO Boats, adds: “Strategically, Marine Servicenter’s locations are ideal for us. Our boats are made for the weather and rough sea conditions of the U.S. West Coast. The XO deep-cutting V-hull is perfect for handling these surroundings.”
XO Boats produces aluminium adventure yachts designed for leisure, outdoor activities and excursions. Its models accommodate both recreational and sports use, making them suitable for activities like high-speed cruising, sea excursions and fishing. Fishing is an important pastime in West Coast areas, particularly Seattle, and several XO boat models are specially configured for fishing.
“I believe these boats will spark interest in the local market,” says Krier. “We have skilled salespeople, a solid organisation, and extensive experience in the field. XO Boats stands out delightfully in their category. I hope for a long and successful partnership with them.”
